Adopted General Plan
Palmdale 2045 is the result of hundreds of hours of research and planning, 18 General Plan Advisory (GPAC) meetings, 4 community workshops, dozens of focus groups and events, and direction from decision makers.
The General Plan is made up of three major components. To view the Housing Element, or PEIR, please click on the navigation panel to the left under “Public Draft”.
The General Plan - chapters 1-16 which include all required elements of the General Plan (separate from the Housing Element which is noted below)
The Housing Element - which is provided under a separate cover due to special State requirements and more frequent updates than the rest of the General Plan
The Program Environmental Impact Report (PEIR) - the associated environmental review of the General Plan per the California Environmental Quality Act.
